The Matadera UFO Encounter - A Spain Incident

One of the most intriguing UFO encounters with physical evidence took place in Spain in January 1969.

Around ten in the morning on the 29th, 80-year-old Antonia Sloer Rius of Matadepera, Barcelona, Spain, went for a walk near her home.

She was drawn to a loud noise she heard.

A strange object that resembled “a fish without a tail” began to move through the sky, which she then noticed.

Power lines were in its path.

The object suddenly moved and slid beneath the transmission lines to avoid being shocked by the wires.

These cables are roughly 6.5 meters in height. The witness estimated the object’s dimensions to be 3 meters long, 2.5 meters wide, and 2.5 meters high.

There were neither windows nor doors. It appeared metallic and had a few oval-shaped marks on the sides.

It had a black circle enclosing a green and yellow circle on the bottom.

There were spherical protrusions on the front.

The object rose diagonally and moved quickly toward Tarrasa after passing by.

Matadera UFO Encounter physical evidence

A short time after the incident, remnants of the strange object’s path were discovered about 40 meters from where the witness was when it was sighted.

The object left four marks on the ground in a straight line, parallel to one another, and pointed in the direction it was moving when it descended to avoid the electrical wires (north-southeast).

The marks appeared to have been created by a drilling substance injected into the earth.

They were very deep but had a small diameter.

There were no indications that any animals had dug nearby.

The fact that the soil in the marks was visibly compressed indicates that pressure and force were used to create them.

Where is Matadepera?

Matadepera is located in the Barcelona province of Catalonia, Spain.

In 1969, the year of the Matadera UFO Encounter, the city had a population of 2,155 people and a rural economy based on agriculture and livestock farming.

Iron, copper, lead, zinc, silver, gold, and other metallic minerals are among the numerous minerals found in the region where Matadepera is situated.

Large amounts of limestone and sandstone and small concentrations of uranium, thorium, and rare earth elements are also present.

There are also many non-metallic minerals, including gypsum, marble, and clay.

Quartz veins in the region are well-known for being significant sources of industrial minerals and gemstones.

The region also has a lot of thermal springs, which have been used therapeutically since the Roman era.

Other UFO Incidents Similar to The Matadera UFO Encounter

Trans-en-Provence UFO Encounter

On the afternoon of January 8, 1981, a strange object landed on a farm near Trans-en-Provence village in the Var region of southeastern France.

This triggered an investigation by the French Gendarmerie, who collected soil and plant samples at the landing site and notified GEPAN, the official ufological research body of the French government, of the incident.

GEPAN then participated in the investigations, carrying out new collections and measurements at the site and passing information to the research laboratories.

The protagonist of this UFO incident was the 55-year-old farmer Renato Nicolai, who reported the event to the Gendarmerie.

He described the object as having the shape of two dishes put together and being approximately 1.5 meters long with a lead color.

He also noticed four openings with no smoke or fire emitted.

When the samples were collected 24 hours after the event, they were subjected to a series of physical and chemical tests in the SNEAP laboratory, electron diffraction studies at the University of Toulouse, ion bombardment mass spectrometry at the University of Metz, and biochemical analysis of the plant samples at the National Institute of Agronomy Research (INRA).

These tests showed that the mark was produced by a solid object with tremendous pressure at the site and revealed evidence of intense electromagnetic energy acting at the site.

The 1966 Tully Saucer Nest

The 1966 Tully Saucer Nest is one of Australia’s most mysterious and fascinating UFO landings.

On the morning of January 19, 1966, George Pedley, a 28-year-old farmer, was driving his tractor near Horseshoe Lagoon when he heard a loud noise.

He then saw a broad, gray, disc-shaped object with a convex top and bottom emerge from the swamp and quickly approach before making a shallow dive and vanishing at tremendous speed.

When Pedley returned to the area, he noticed a large circular area free of reeds in the middle of the pond, which had not been there a few hours before.

Pennisi and another man entered the water and discovered the plants were loose and could be swum under.

The edges of the mass of reeds had formed an angle that gave the impression of a large saucer. Pennisi took several photos of the strange mark, and the plants on the edge of the spot quickly turned brown at the top.

The Tully Saucer Nest is in North Queensland, Australia, a region renowned for its gold, copper, silver, and lead mineral resources.

The investigation was conducted to prove that the mark was produced by helicopters, large birds, crocodiles, or any other natural origin. Samples were collected and sent to Brisbane for analysis, but nothing unusual was detected.

The Royal Australian Air Force offered that the mark was produced by a “willy-willy.” However, this theory fails to explain the Pedley sighting.

To date, this UFO Landing incident remains unexplained.

Lake Anten UFO Landing Incident

On August 29 August 29, 1970, dozens of people observed a strange reddish light flying over Lake Anten, Sweden. Karlsson, a nearby farm owner, noticed the light around midnight and described the object as round with a bright and red light. It moved up and down, floated silently, and accelerated quickly. While driving on the highway,

Mrs. Aronsson and P. Nilsson saw the same object and other witnesses to the region’s north, east, and west.

At 2 am, the light disappeared, and the following day a triangular mark was found in Richard Johansson’sJohansson’s garden. GICOFF, Goteborgs Informations Center om Oidentifierade Flygande Foremal, sent a group of ufologists to investigate the facts.

They interviewed witnesses and collected samples from inside the mark and control samples outside the circle.

The samples were analyzed at the Chalmers Institute of Technology and the Institution for Nuclear Chemistry.

Through a Hewlett Packard Multichannel Analyser, it was noticed that the unaffected reference sample contained no readings of gamma radiation. In contrast, the piece inside the mark had 660 KeV of radiation.
