In The Boy (2016) In theaters January 22th, in a remote English village Greta (Lauren Cohan), a young american girl, takes a job as a nanny for an 8-year-old boy.
But upon her arrival Greta realizes that the child she is supposed to take care is a life-size doll.
Her new employers, The Heelshire (Jim Norton and Diana Hardcastle) care for the doll as if it was human, which helps the couple to cope with the death of their own son 20 years earlier.
But a series of disturbing and inexplicable events bring her worst fears to life, when Greta violates a list of strict rules, leading her to believe that the doll is not normal.
Directed by William Brent Bell (The Devil Inside) and screenplay by Stacey Menear is Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead) first role in a horror movie.
