A visibly drunk, the American Donald Wolfe, 55, was arrested last Thursday (25) in Punxsutawney, the state of Pennsylvania (USA), accused of trying to resurrect a possum.
The officer Jamie Levier said several witnesses saw the animal near Wolfe on Thursday along the highway 36 in Oliver Township, which lies about 105 miles from Pittsburgh.
The agent said that one person reported seeing Wolfe kneeling in front of the animal and gesturing as if conducting a healing section.
Another said he saw the suspect trying to do mouth-to-mouth in the possum.
According to Levi, the animal didn’t make it, the animal had been dead for some time.
